We had the opportunity to create two character designs that had to be related; these characters needed to activate each other, allowing stories to form from their relationship. I created Fran and Anthony.
These characters have complexity in their mixed motivations and their desire to be loved and to have connection. I was inspired by radishes for this task and took heavy inspiration from Diprotodons.
My concept art takes a boring moment and shows how they interact when around each other, while also highlighting the environment that they live in.

This character was also utilised for a rigging exercise where we learnt how to 2D rig using Harmony.
